YOU FIND US

You find us from the mainstation in 7 min. by feet or you take trolley-bus #1, direction Maihof, to the stop Löwenplatz. There are a lot of parkings near the restaurant, e.g. Löwencenter, Cityparking, Schweizerhof, Casino … For large Busses is a special Car-Parking just in front of the restaurant. You will find us in the 1.floor upstairs the entrance Zürichstrasse 4. If you need the lift, take the entrance Friedenstrasse 2.

ABOUT US

Kanchi – We are located in the heart of Lucerne in the middle between the Lion Monument and the lake. At Kanchi you will find authentic North and South Indian dishes. We make every effort to meet your requirements. In Kanchi we use a traditional tandoori clay oven, powered by charcoal. Our Indian chefs prepare the fantastically good tandoori chickens, kebabs, tikkas, lamb nier pieces and naan brotes.

From Monday to Friday we offer a reach lunch buffet for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. Almost all menus from the menu are also available in the takeaway, for those who like to have a good snack, but little time to linger.

Kanchi specializes in outdoor events, Indian dinners with tandoori ovens, dinners on the boat (Lake Four Forest) etc. for local and Indian groups. Detailed menu planning, flexibility, creativity coupled with the joy of new experiments, makes the events, performed by Kanchi, an extraordinary experience.
